Dan Shake is a British DJ and producer known for his vibrant blend of disco house, jazz house, and funky house, infused with elements of funk, soul, and acid. He gained early recognition in 2014 as the first non-Detroit artist to release on Moodymann's prestigious Mahogani Music label with "3AM Jazz Club / Thinkin'". Shake is celebrated for his infectious and energetic sound, characterized by catchy melodies, groovy basslines, and a knack for re-contextualizing old funk, disco, and soul samples in his productions. He maintains a busy touring schedule, with upcoming performances in 2026 including The Loft in Manchester on February 27th, Southport Weekender in March, Higher Love Malta in April, and the Hï Ibiza Opening Party on April 25th, where he will bring his "joyful grooves". He is also slated to perform at The Cause in London in May and Westival in July 2026. His expertise as a DJ is widely recognized, consistently delivering an "explosion of colour, variety and flavour" whether in the booth or the studio.
