Cyrille Aimée is a French jazz singer known for her fluid blend of jazz tradition, modern expression, and a unique multicultural background that includes French and Dominican heritage, as well as Gypsy influences. Praised for her clear tone, improvisational depth, and dynamic stage presence, she is an acclaimed vocalist who has won the Montreux Jazz Festival Vocal Competition and the Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. Aimée is actively releasing new music and touring. Her latest live album, "4.24," recorded during an engagement at Birdland Jazz Club in April 2024, was released on June 13, 2025. This album captures the energy of her live shows, featuring original songs, inventive arrangements of standards, and reimagined pop material. Additionally, her album "à Fleur de Peau," released on March 8, 2024, earned a Grammy nomination for Best Traditional Pop Album of the Year for the 2025 Grammy Awards. "À Fleur de Peau" is a deeply personal project, showcasing Aimée's original compositions and reflecting her experiences, including building a house in the Costa Rican jungle, where she now divides her time with New Orleans. She continues to tour extensively, with upcoming concert dates listed into 2026.
