Curren$y, born Shante Scott Franklin, is a highly prolific American rapper from New Orleans, Louisiana, widely recognized for his smooth, laid-back flow, vivid storytelling, and signature "Jet Life" aesthetic within the Southern hip-hop genre. He has amassed an extensive discography of over 90 mixtapes, EPs, and solo and collaborative albums throughout his career, which began in the early 2000s. In his latest endeavors, Curren$y continues his impressive output. In 2025 alone, he released several projects, including the albums *10/15*, *9/15*, *8/30*, *7/30*, and *Never Catch Us*, with the latter being a joint project with Harry Fraud.
