Cup of Joe is a Filipino pop rock band that formed in Baguio in November 2018, known for their blend of OPM, indie pop, and alternative rock. The band consists of vocalists Gian Bernardino and Raphaell Ridao, lead guitarist Gabriel Fernandez, rhythm guitarist CJ Fernandez, and keyboardist Xen Gareza. The group has recently achieved significant milestones, releasing their second EP titled "Sandali" on May 1, 2026. They also made history on May 23, 2026, by becoming the first OPM act to host a solo concert, "Sandali: The Cup of Joe Fest," at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan. Their hit song "Multo," from their 2025 debut album "Silakbo," became the most-streamed OPM song of all time on Spotify in February 2026, accumulating over 500 million streams. "Multo" also marked a historic moment as the first song by a Filipino act to enter the Billboard Global 200, peaking at No. 80, and dominated the Billboard Philippines Hot 100 for ten consecutive weeks. Cup of Joe's international presence continues to grow with scheduled performances at Shibuya Sound Scramble in Japan in June 2026, and plans for further tours in Qatar, Singapore, and across the US and Canada in 2026. The band is also working on a follow-up album to their successful "Silakbo."
