Cosculluela live history: reggaeton • trap latino • hip hop latino
Cosculluela, whose real name is José Fernando Cosculluela Suárez, is a prominent Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and songwriter known for his work in reggaeton, Latin hip hop, and Latin trap music. He gained international recognition with his hit single "Te Va Ir Mal" and has released several albums throughout his career, including "Los Muertos" in 2023. In late 2021, Cosculluela signed an exclusive deal with ONErpm, in partnership with his longtime label Rottweilas, Inc. In recent endeavors, Cosculluela has released new music, including the single "Mas Fina" in July 2025, which also marked the announcement of a world tour with a confirmed date in Chile's Movistar Arena in November 2025. He also released "Siempre" in May 2026 and "Antes del Fondo" in June 2026, and collaborated with Wisin & Yandel on "Prrrum", released in May 2026. The artist has also been involved in recent lyrical "wars" with other artists, with discussions in June 2026 hinting at potential new tracks and rivalries. On the personal front, Cosculluela debuted a new relationship with Sigmari in January 2026. However, he has also faced legal challenges; in January 2025, he was arrested and charged with a "hit and run" incident from May 2024 involving two horsemen and their horses, leading to a $150,000 bail, electronic supervision, and travel restrictions. He later pleaded guilty to these charges.
