Chained Saint is a thrash metal band that formed in a South Florida garage in the summer of 2022, comprised of high school students Sean Sterling (vocals), Ethan Kahn (guitar), Sebastian De Avila (bass), and Cameron Cottrell (drums). The band released their debut album, "Blindside," in late August 2024 through Patriark Records, which was produced by William DuVall of Alice In Chains and recorded entirely to analog tape, embracing an old-school thrash sound with modern brutality. Chained Saint has rapidly gained recognition, with their single "Animosity" featured as the theme song for the WWE 2K24 DLC 4 trailer. They released the new single "1000 Tons" on June 19, 2025, which quickly entered rotation on SiriusXM's Liquid Metal and was featured by the UFC. In December 2025, they released a live EP, "Live At The Whisky A Go Go," documenting their performance from August of that year. The band embarked on their first-ever headline U.S. tour starting June 19, 2025, and performed at major festivals including Welcome to Rockville, Warped Tour 30th anniversary, Rocklahoma, and Louder Than Life in 2025. They have received high praise from publications such as Revolver, Guitar World, Loudwire, and Metal Injection, as well as from Judas Priest legend Rob Halford. With over 2 million streams on digital platforms and 2.5 million YouTube views for their official videos, Chained Saint continues to see upward momentum, with plans for new music in early 2026.
