CARSICK is a Salisbury-based alternative punk band known for their genre-bending sound, incorporating elements of indie rock, post-punk, hip-hop, and electronic music. Formed in late 2021, their music often features tongue-in-cheek lyrics that explore the experiences of young adult life and British drinking culture, reflected in their energetic live performances. The band recently announced their second EP, 'Tough Luck,' which is scheduled for release on September 5, 2025, through Alcopop! Records. This upcoming EP follows their 2023 debut, 'Drunk Hymns'. They also released a new music video for the single "Backseat," described as a "catchy summer banger" about the cycle of living for the weekend. CARSICK has been active with live performances, completing Spring 2025 EU headline dates and supporting The Meffs on UK dates, with plans to play at European festivals like Rebellion Festival, Boomtown, and Sziget in Summer 2025, as well as UK support dates with Pet Needs in Winter 2025. Earlier in 2024, they released the single "Gig Tax," which offered a critical perspective on the music industry.
