About Carajo

Carajo was an Argentine rock band from Buenos Aires, formed in 2000, known for their intense fusion of nu metal, alternative metal, groove metal, hardcore punk, and metalcore. The power trio consisted of Marcelo "Corvata" Corvalán on bass and vocals, Andrés "Andy" Vilanova on drums, and Hernán "Tery" Langer on guitar and backing vocals. After nearly two decades, Carajo announced their breakup in January 2020, shortly after releasing their final studio album, "Basado en Hechos Reales," in 2019. Following the dissolution, Marcelo Corvalán has pursued solo work under the name Corvex, while Andrés Vilanova and Hernán Langer have also embarked on separate individual musical endeavors.
