Calle Lebraun is a Manchester-born house DJ and producer whose sound draws directly from the DNA of hip hop, UK rap, grime, soul and reggae, reworked into punchy, bass-driven house music built for busy dancefloors. Active since 2014, he emerged from the UK underground with early releases such as Because of Me and Sometimes I (Fantasize) on MFR Records, quickly earning a reputation for chunky grooves, swung percussion and street-level energy. Global attention followed with shuffle-dance favourite Bad Bitches on Drive Recordings, while further club weapons like Come Correct and his appearance on Audio Rehab’s Future Focus, Vol. 3 helped cement his position within modern UK house. In 2019, Concrete Bungle on Audiowhore Records marked a key moment, leading to larger bookings including a billed appearance at Ministry of Sound in London. Calle has since expanded his output with projects such as the Body Fluorescence EP and his debut album 100% Braunhaus, released via his own imprint Reson8Records — a full statement of his heavyweight, groove-focused sound. Alongside label releases, fan-driven Bandcamp projects like the Calle Packs series showcase his consistent, DJ-ready output.
