About Call It Off

Call It Off is a Dutch pop-punk band from Eindhoven, Netherlands, formed in 2013, known for their energetic sound compared to bands like Green Day and Blink-182. After initially announcing a breakup in 2020 and playing a delayed farewell show in 2022, founding members Maurice Bolier (guitar, vocals) and Sergei Christian (drums) reformed the band in February 2023. They recruited new members Gio Sliwa (guitar, backing vocals) and Timmy Steenstra Toussaint (bass guitar, backing vocals) with the blessing of former members Adrian DeLange and Lesley Klaverdijk. In recent endeavors, Call It Off has been actively releasing new music and performing. They released the single "Opalite" in March 2026. Their third album, "Not Another Sad Album," was announced for release on February 21, 2025. Additionally, the band released a full-length cover album titled "Thirteen (Call It Off's version)," featuring 13 Taylor Swift tracks, in 2025, which has seen repressings due to demand. Call It Off has a tour extending into early 2027, with numerous dates across the Netherlands, and they are also performing "Eras Tour Goes Poppunk" shows. The band consistently releases new standalone singles, often combining them into EPs. They aim for more shows, including potential tours abroad.
