Broadsheets is a Bristol-based quintet known for their slowcore sound, characterized by subdued tempos, minimalist instrumentation, and somber vocal performances. The band comprises Laura Kristapaite (vocals, synth), Llyr Adeline (guitar), Oli Kadouchkine (guitar), Tom Monaghan (bass), and Aidan Surgey (drums), with members often swapping instruments and sharing lead vocal duties between tracks. Their music features hushed vocals over intense drum passages and explosive, noisy guitars. Broadsheets released their single "Chapel Bells" on March 12, 2025, which serves as a first taste of their new EP, "Train Dreams," scheduled for release in June 2025.
