Boy With Apple consists of Tim Hedlund (guitar), Saga Fransson (vocals & bass), Zara Henriksson (vocals & synth), and the band’s latest addition, Jonas Normark (guitar). With large soundscapes, ethereal vocals, and danceable beats, the result is a shoegaze-pop where closeness and distance are in an eternal tug-of-war for balance. “Grief, comfort, love, and hope are emotions that are central both in the lyrics and the atmosphere. We believe these are feelings we share with many others, and they need to be expressed through music. That’s also why we want to share our music—to create a sense of community. Art is the absolute most important thing for all of us in the band, and it shines through in everything we do, which we feel is evident in the audience every time we perform live.”
