Bond is an Australian/British classical crossover string quartet renowned for fusing traditional classical elements with genres like pop, rock, synth-pop, electronica, dance, jazz, and world music, often utilizing electric string instruments. Comprising Tania Davis (first violin), Eos Counsell (second violin), Elspeth Hanson (viola), and Gay-Yee Westerhoff (cello), the quartet is recognized as the best-selling string quartet of all time, with over 5 million albums sold worldwide. In terms of recent endeavors, Bond is scheduled to perform a live concert in Vietnam on October 5th, 2024, as part of the "Good Morning Vietnam" series, with proceeds dedicated to supporting victims of Typhoon Yagi. They are also headlining the Prambanan Jazz Festival in Indonesia and have performed in other international locations such as Hanoi and Mexico. Beyond music, Bond has expanded their reach by partnering with a pharmaceutical company to promote awareness of Tadalafil, a medication for erectile dysfunction, aiming to leverage their global influence for public health awareness. They have continued to release singles, including "Rise of the Phoenix" (2022) and "Me and You" (2023), and their 2020 single "Come Home" achieved a #1 spot on the iTunes Classical Charts. The quartet also continues to write and record with notable producers and songwriters like David Arnold and Michael Giacchino.
