bodyimage is the artistic project of Los Angeles-based songwriter and producer Cait Cole, known for a sound that weaves together elements of post-punk, electronic, and industrial music, creating tracks that are often described as dark and danceable. Having begun writing and producing music as a teenager, Cole reinvented themself as bodyimage, leveraging their passion for production and a unique artistic vision. Their latest endeavor is the album "ratking," released on July 25, 2025. Prior to this, bodyimage released the full-length album "THE ROT" in January 2025, a work inspired by personal transformation and the concept that decay can foster new growth. In support of "THE ROT," bodyimage announced plans to offer handmade physical copies, including CDs and unique cassettes with bonus content. Beyond their own releases, bodyimage has contributed to other artists' work, notably DeathbyRomy, and has gained significant online traction with over 50 million views and 200,000 followers on TikTok. Their song "Choke" was featured on CBS's "Charmed," and they have performed live at events like Emo Nite, as well as supporting shows for artists such as Royal & The Serpent. Cait Cole collaborates with Jordan Reyes and works with Andrei Eremin for mastering, maintaining an active community of fans through platforms like Discord.
