Bispo is a prominent Portuguese hip-hop and rap artist, born Pedro Bispo in Algueirão-Mem Martins in 1992, who began composing music at the age of 11 and launched his career in 2014 with the debut album "Bispoterapia". He has since become a significant name in Portuguese rap, known for his authentic and captivating music, releasing several albums including "Desde a Origem" (2015), "Fora D'Horas" (2017), and "Mais Antigo" (2020). Bispo has garnered widespread recognition for popular tracks like "Essa Saia" featuring Ivandro, which achieved four Platinum certifications and millions of views and streams, and "Planeta" with Barbara Tinoco, boasting over 10 million Spotify streams in 2023. He was honored with the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Portuguese Act in 2023, following an earlier nomination in 2018. In recent endeavors, Bispo released his third full-length album, "Entre Nós," in April 2025, an introspective work featuring 16 tracks that reflects on his personal journey and career. This album's release followed three sold-out concerts at the Coliseus in Lisbon and Porto in March 2025, marking a significant milestone in his career. Additionally, Bispo participated in Festival da Canção 2024, where he composed and performed "Casa Portuguesa". He is also scheduled to perform at Varosa Fest 2025 on August 7th. In 2020, he founded his own record label, Mentalidade Free.
