About the artist

Eight-piece ska-punk band from the Basque Country Betagarri was formed in the early '90s. After recording the group's first demo tape in 1994, Betagarri signed up to the independent Mil A Gritos label, founded in 1995 by Soziedad Alkoholika. They released a self-titled album in 1997. Two years later, the band moved to Esan Ozanki Records, issuing 80/00 and 2000's Freaky Festa. ~ Drago Bonacich
