Belle Chen is an Australian-Taiwanese pianist, composer, and producer based in London, known for her captivating and uncategorizable musical style that blends classical piano with avant-garde, world, electronica, and sound art genres. She skilfully integrates piano melodies with synths, creating a seamless fusion of acoustic and electronic music, often incorporating improvisations and original compositions that retain a classical and neo-classical aesthetic amidst experimental textures. As a Yamaha Artist, her work has been described as "original and provocative" by Brian Eno. Her latest album, "Ravel In The Forest," was released on February 16, 2024, via Platoon, charting at #7 on the UK Specialist Classical chart and #15 on the ARIA Classical chart. This album, featuring collaborations with the Budapest Art Orchestra on tracks such as 'Closer' and 'Moonrise', is inspired by nature and imagination, offering richly cinematic and ethereal compositions. She previewed the album with the single 'Three Birds'. In 2025, she also released the single "Closer (Extended Version)".
