Bella Poarch is a Filipino-American social media personality and singer known for her distinct blend of pop, dark pop, alternative pop, and indie music. She initially rose to global fame on TikTok in August 2020, where her lip-sync video became the platform's most-liked. A U.S. Navy veteran, Poarch transitioned into music, signing with Warner Records in May 2021. Her debut single, "Build a Bitch," released in 2021, achieved RIAA platinum status, peaked on the Billboard Hot 100, and set a record for a new artist's YouTube debut. She released her debut EP, "Dolls," in August 2022, which features tracks like "Inferno" and the title song, exploring themes of self-empowerment. Poarch has collaborated with artists such as Grimes, Kenia OS, and Sub Urban. More recently, she released the songs "Crush" with Lauv in September 2023 and "Bad Boy" in November 2023. She also made a cameo in Disney's Tron: Ares and recorded two songs for Netflix's "Wednesday" soundtrack. Poarch is preparing for her debut album, "PICNIC AT THE CEMETERY," which includes the lead single "Ribcage". In October 2025, she graced the cover of Vogue Philippines. Earlier in May 2025, she returned to the Philippines for the first time in 14 years to reconnect with her roots, sharing her journey on TikTok and even undergoing a stye removal surgery while there. She has also launched her own label, "M TO THE BEE".
