Becky G, born Rebbeca Marie Gomez, is an American singer, rapper, and actress who has made a significant impact across both English and Spanish music markets with her versatile sound, blending pop, hip-hop, reggaeton, and Latin influences. She gained initial recognition through YouTube covers before achieving mainstream success with her 2014 hit "Shower," and then further solidified her career in the Latin genre with popular Spanish-language tracks like "Mayores" and "Sin Pijama".
