About Bantu

Bantu is a Zimbabwean-born, 2x Grammy-nominated artist, DJ, producer, and songwriter known for his bold fusion of Afro House, Afro Fusion, Amapiano, and Dancehall. His sound channels the energy of the African diaspora, creating rhythmic, global, and deeply immersive experiences. As a producer and writer, he has collaborated with global icons such as Maroon 5, Drake, J Balvin, Camila Cabello, Tyla, and Jason Derulo. In his latest endeavors, Bantu co-produced "Sideways" for Gordo & Drake and has been featured with Afro House favorites Sparrow & Barbossa. He also teamed up with multicultural producer Wakyin for the Afro House single "Closer," released in August 2024. Additionally, he released "Too Late" with Antdot. Upcoming releases include several singles like "Nobody Else," "Too Much," "Too Late," and "Habibi" in 2025, and DJ mixes such as "Cape to Cairo 001: Bantu (DJ Mix)" slated for March 2026, and "Isgubhu October 2025 (DJ Mix)". His DJ sets are known for blending cross-genre experiences, with collaborations involving BLOND:ISH, Wakyin, and Jonas Blue.
