Bambara’s Birthmarks is a tale of reincarnation—both in its storytelling and in the band’s own evolution. Five years after Stray and three after Love On My Mind, the trio—Reid Bateh, twin brother Blaze, and William Brookshire — returns with their most immersive and haunting work yet. Inspired by themes of love, loss, and the past’s inescapable grip, Birthmarks unfolds like a fever dream—spanning decades of dive bars, electric chairs, and spectral memories.
