Ayanna Witter-Johnson is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, pianist, and cellist who blends classical, jazz, reggae, soul, and R&B. Born in London of Jamaican heritage, she is known for her mesmerizing vocals, uncompromising lyrics, and virtuosic cello playing. She has a phenomenal mastery for seamlessly crossing musical boundaries to imprint her unique musical signature. Recently, Ayanna was longlisted for the 'Best Live Performer' AIM Awards 2025. In October 2024, her closing performance at Classically Black, the UK's first Black classical music festival, was broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Sounds. She also received the Nordoff and Robbins 2023 Silver Cleff Classical Award and was nominated for an RPS Instrumentalist Award.
