Ayah Marar is a highly talented songwriter and performer deeply rooted in the electronic music scene, particularly known for her contributions to drum and bass, where she has been dubbed the "first lady of UK Bass". Her career showcases a seamless transcendence of multiple genres, highlighted by collaborations with prominent artists such as Calvin Harris, Camo & Krooked, DJ Marky, Toddla T, and Jack Peñate. She has lent her vocals to tracks on esteemed labels like Hospital Records and Metalheadz, and has toured extensively at global clubs and festivals including Glastonbury. In terms of her latest endeavors, Ayah Marar was featured on the "HRSN (Because of Art Revisit)," a reworked, chilled version of the track by Because of Art, Jody Wisternoff, and James Grant, released on September 8, 2025. Her work was also included in the "Liquicity Summer 2023" and "Liquicity Spring 2023" compilations, and she featured on the "Let It Burn EP" with Sly Chaos, Ella Monnery, SIU, and Indy Skies, and on "X-Ray" alongside Murdock and others. Looking forward, Ayah Marar is slated to host a Hospitality event at Melkweg as part of the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), showcasing her continued presence in the drum and bass scene. She also recently collaborated with Mandidextrous on the track "Going Up (feat. Ayah Marar)".
