About the artist

Emerging in 2010 amidst a sea of blackened deathcore, Australia’s Aversions Crown separated themselves from the rest with their visceral take on the genre. Armed with brutal 8-string guitar work and a variety of vocal patterns, their technically demanding sound has evolved into something unmistakably their own. Continuing to refine their lineup and sound, the band now enters a new chapter with the addition of Alex Teyen on vocals. Their upcoming EP, A Voice from the Outer Dark, is set for release on August 5, 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records, marking a bold and punishing evolution in the Aversions Crown legacy.
