Antimatter is a UK-based musical project known for its introspective and atmospheric soundscapes, exploring existential themes and emotional depth within genres such as progressive rock, gothic metal, progressive metal, and doom metal. Initially a duo formed by Mick Moss and Duncan Patterson (formerly of Anathema), it has been Mick Moss's solo endeavor since Patterson's departure in 2004. In recent endeavors, Antimatter released a triple-album titled "Parallel Matter" on January 16, 2025. This release, celebrating the project's 25th anniversary, includes previously unreleased songs, alternative versions, live recordings, and remixes. The special edition features an additional disc of Mick Moss's home recordings from 1995-99. The artist also has a series of concerts scheduled throughout 2025 and 2026, with performances planned across Germany, Poland, France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. These include appearances at festivals like Stella Nomine Festival and Brutal Assault in 2026.
