About Another Level

Another Level is an English soul and R&B-influenced boy band that originally formed in 1997, consisting of Mark Baron, Dane Bowers, Bobak Kianoush, and Wayne Williams. They achieved considerable success in the late 1990s with their R&B, pop, soul, and garage sound, earning seven top ten singles, including the 1998 number-one hit "Freak Me", and a platinum-selling debut album. After an initial split in 2000, the band reunited for a one-off performance at the Kisstory Festival in 2021 with Baron, Bowers, and Kianoush. In 2024, a reformed lineup of Another Level, featuring Mark Baron, Dane Bowers, Shaun Hoyte, and Greg Costa, was slated to headline the inaugural RnB Nation festival, though original members Bobak Kianoush and Wayne Williams did not participate in this latest reunion. Bobak Kianoush has since established a successful career as a model.
