About the artist

Alfa, whose real name is Andrea De Filippi, is an Italian singer and rapper born in Genoa in 2000. He is known for his blend of indie pop and pop rap, often featuring buoyant pop-rap and life-affirming lyrics. Alfa gained significant recognition in the early 2020s, with his 2023 single "Bellissimissima" reaching number four on the Italian Singles Chart. In recent endeavors, Alfa competed at the Sanremo Music Festival 2024 with his song "Vai!", which finished in tenth place and reached the top ten of the Italian singles chart. This preceded the release of his third studio album, "Non so chi ha creato il mondo ma so che era innamorato," on February 16, 2024, which went on to reach number one on the Italian album charts. Following the album, he released singles like "Vabbè ciao" in May 2024 and "Il filo rosso" in October 2024, the latter of which topped Italian charts and was certified Platinum. In 2025, his collaboration with Manu Chao on "A me mi piace" also became a summer hit, peaking at number one on Spotify Italy and becoming the most played song on Italian radio for weeks. Alfa has a busy touring schedule, with an arena tour planned for 2025 across Italy, including new dates in Livorno, Conegliano Veneto, and Montichiari. He also has a summer tour in 2025 and announced a 2026 tour in major Italian venues, with dates in Milan and Genoa.
