Aki Oke is a London-based indie dance project known for its postmodern electronic music that combines club intent with pop hooks. The duo, composed of brothers Will and Charlie (with Will also having a background as indie pop artist Joseph Cook), blends emotive songwriting with brash, high-energy production, sitting at the intersection of hyperpop, dance, and 2000s indie sleaze revival. Their music also pays homage to UK garage culture, creating a sound that is both catchy and fresh. Aki Oke is scheduled to release their first longer-form mixtape in June 2026. They have been actively performing, with a growing reputation for their live shows, including appearances at Reading and Leeds Festival and Latitude in 2025. Recent performances in 2025 and 2026 include venues like Sebright Arms in London, Tiny Rebel Cardiff, and upcoming appearances at The Great Escape 2026. They have also released several singles, including "finest girl," "C'MON," and "Totally hot waiter" in 2026.
