About the artist

Aitana, born Aitana Ocaña Morales in 1999, is a Spanish pop singer and actress who rose to prominence as the runner-up in the 2017 season of the Spanish reality television music competition *Operación Triunfo*. Often dubbed the "Spanish Princess of Pop," she is known for her versatile sound, which blends mainstream pop with elements of Latin pop, pop rock, and electropop, characterized by catchy melodies and themes of love, friendship, and self-discovery. Her career has seen multiple number-one hits in Spain, including "Lo Malo," "Teléfono," "Vas a Quedarte," "Gran Vía," and "Mon Amour," and she has garnered numerous awards, such as Premios Ondas, LOS40 Music Awards, and an MTV Europe Music Award. She made her acting debut in the 2022 Disney+ series *La Última*, for which she also contributed to the soundtrack. Her third studio album, *Alpha*, released in September 2023, explored electropop and dance music, showcasing an evolution in her sound. In her latest endeavors, Aitana has had a very active 2025. In January 2025, she initiated a new musical era for her forthcoming fourth studio album with the release of the single "Segundo Intento." Her documentary, "Aitana: Metamorfosis," premiered on Netflix in February 2025, offering intimate insights into her life and career. This was followed by another single in March 2025, "Sentimiento Natural," a collaboration with Puerto Rican artist Myke Towers. She also recently concluded her "Metamorfosis Season" tour in August 2025, which included sold-out stadium concerts in Barcelona and Madrid, celebrating her record-breaking album "Cuarto Azul" and establishing her as Spain's number one pop artist. Aitana has also expanded her brand through partnerships, becoming a global ambassador for Iberia and the face of Pantene in Spain in 2023, and launching a customized card with Santander in 2024, the same year a Nancy doll based on her was released.
