Airbag is an Argentinian hard rock and progressive rock band formed in Buenos Aires in 1999 by brothers Patricio (lead guitar, keyboards, vocals), Gastón (bass, backing vocals), and Guido Sardelli (drums, rhythm guitar, vocals). Known for their blend of classic rock and modern sounds, influenced by groups like Queen, The Beatles, Guns N' Roses, and Soda Stereo, their music features powerful guitar riffs and dynamic melodies. The band has released eight studio albums and two live albums and primarily tours across Latin America. Airbag has experienced a pivotal year in 2024, performing two memorable shows for over 30,000 people at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires in May. Following this, they embarked on a successful tour of Spain in July 2024, playing in cities like Barcelona, Madrid, and Valencia. These endeavors build on their momentum from late 2023, when they concluded their biggest show to date at Vélez Sarsfield Stadium, playing to 45,000 fans. They are slated to conclude their "most important tour" with another performance at Vélez Sarsfield Stadium on December 21st.
