Aimyon is a highly acclaimed Japanese singer-songwriter from Nishinomiya, Hyōgo Prefecture, known for her distinctive J-Pop sound which often incorporates rock and folk influences. She began writing songs in middle school and rose to prominence with her relatable lyrics that delve into themes of love, sorrow, and self-discovery, delivered through captivating melodies and a unique vocal style. Her music has resonated widely, establishing her as one of Japan's most influential contemporary artists. In terms of recent endeavors, Aimyon is set to release her first best-of album, "AIMYON BEST ALBUM - Follow Your Lips!", on September 9, 2026, celebrating her 10th anniversary since her major debut. This album will feature 42 tracks, including all singles and B-sides from 2016 to 2025. She has also been active with new music, releasing the EP "Belt of Venus" on October 22, 2025, alongside singles such as "On Your Marks" and "Sketch / While listening to your dreams, I'm weaving funny ideas!" earlier that year. Aimyon has scheduled a national tour, "AIMYON TOUR 2025+ 'Heaven's Bakery'," kicking off in November 2025 across seven Japanese cities, and a fan club tour, "AIMYON FAN CLUB TOUR 2026 'PINKY PROMISE YOU vol.2'," starting in March 2026. Furthermore, she is slated to appear on "Nippon Broadcasting System 'AIMYON's All Night Nippon GOLD'" on August 7, 2026, and NHK General TV's "Summer Music Festival: If We Could Meet Through Song 2026" on August 15, 2026. She is also performing the theme song "Ichi ni tsuite" for the July 2025 drama "The 19th Medical Chart".
