Afriquoi is a London-based Afro supergroup formed in 2011, known for fusing Congolese guitar, Gambian kora, and Mandinka percussion with UK electronic sensibilities, drawing on genres like house, garage, disco, soul, and jungle. They are known for creating uplifting, dancefloor-friendly music and have a global fanbase, with performances at major festivals like Glastonbury and WOMAD. Their recent endeavors include the release of the EP 'Leave Your Vanity' in early 2023, featuring remixes by Zed Bias, Shy One, and WheelUP.
