40 Winks is an instrumental hip hop duo from Antwerp, Belgium, consisting of producers Padmo' and Weedy. They are known for their meticulously crafted beats and atmospheric vibes, blending trip hop and downtempo with other genres to create soulful and heady soundscapes. The duo, who met in the 90s, began releasing independent albums in 2002. After a hiatus, they released "Field Recordings" in September 2021, which was their first album in ten years. Their latest endeavor includes a new album titled "SPIRITS," released in 2025.
